Steve Pemberton

Steve James Pemberton〔Ancestry.com. England & Wales, Birth Index: 1837–1983 (database on-line).〕 (born 1 September 1967) is an English actor, writer, comedian and screenwriter, best known as a member of ''The League of Gentlemen'' with Reece Shearsmith, Mark Gatiss, and Jeremy Dyson. Pemberton and Shearsmith also wrote and appeared in the sitcom ''Psychoville''. His other television credits include ''Doctor Who'', ''Benidorm'', ''Blackpool'', ''Shameless'', ''Whitechapel'', ''Happy Valley'' and ''Mapp and Lucia''.
==Early life==
Pemberton was born in Blackburn, Lancashire. He attended St. Michael's CE High School, where his acting skills were first recognised. After studying at Runshaw College, Pemberton graduated from Bretton Hall College with a BA (Hons) in theatre arts.
